The Tribe Apartments, Manchester achieved a BREEAM Outstanding rating after the refurbishment of the 1950's tower blocks took place to transform them into 192 new residential apartments. This development won "The Sustainable Housing Scheme of the Year" award and has won the worldwide "BREEAM Best Residential Development" award.

You guys have made such a huge difference to people’s lives. Our job is now to maintain that momentum.” Your generosity of time and materials was crucial to the success of this massive project, the BBC’s biggest ever Big Build, and your contributions to the fundraising for WWTW will help the charity in firmly establishing their North West base. With your support, we have raised £5,400 via Barry Corbett’s 10k and a virtual raffle for which our supply chain not only donated prizes to, but also bought tickets for. The project doesn’t end here, we will continue our support for WWTW and are currently liaising with the charity on training and work experience opportunities and the coordination of skills support. Once more, please accept our most heartfelt thanks. We hope you got out of it as much as we did, especially if you watched the achievement unfold on the BBC shows, seeing the reaction of the veterans involved in the programme; Lamin, John, Jack and their families. There were also the unseen works, including getting the site into a position where the impossible could be achieved in two weeks, so for whichever stage of the project you were involved in, you really did play a part in making this happen. Energy Council are pleased to have worked alongside M&Y Maintenance & Construction on the Lighthouse View project.

Located in Fleetwood, Wyre, this project is a beautiful new 72 apartment extra care scheme which will provide  high quality, safe and secure homes for older people who want to enjoy their independence with care and support available when they need  it.

Energy Council have been working with other teams to complete the SAP and SBEM, acoustics, air leakage and sound testing.

We wish the new residents every happiness in their new homes!
