The Tribe Apartments, Manchester achieved a BREEAM Outstanding rating after the refurbishment of the 1950's tower blocks took place to transform them into 192 new residential apartments. This development won "The Sustainable Housing Scheme of the Year" award and has won the worldwide "BREEAM Best Residential Development" award.

The project doesn’t end here, we will continue our support for WWTW and are currently liaising with the charity on training and work experience opportunities and the coordination of skills support. We hope you got out of it as much as we did, especially if you watched the achievement unfold on the BBC shows, seeing the reaction of the veterans involved in the programme; Lamin, John, Jack and their families. There were also the unseen works, including getting the site into a position where the impossible could be achieved in two weeks, so for whichever stage of the project you were involved in, you really did play a part in making this happen. Spring Grove Works, Oldham

Energy Council are pleased to be working alongside J Greenwood (Builders) Ltd on the Spring Grove Works project.

This new project is located in Greenfield, Oldham and the client is E&G Developments Ltd. The development is made up of ten new build residential houses.

Energy Council have been working on the SAP/ EPC assessments along with the Air Leakage Testing in order to meet building regulations.

We are looking forward to seeing this one develop with Poole Dick Associates, Millson Group and D&D Consulting.
