Your generosity of time and materials was crucial to the success of this massive project, the BBC’s biggest ever Big Build, and your contributions to the fundraising for WWTW will help the charity in firmly establishing their North West base.
With your support, we have raised £5,400 via Barry Corbett’s 10k and a virtual raffle for which our supply chain not only donated prizes to, but also bought tickets for.
The project doesn’t end here, we will continue our support for WWTW and are currently liaising with the charity on training and work experience opportunities and the coordination of skills support.
Once more, please accept our most heartfelt thanks. We hope you got out of it as much as we did, especially if you watched the achievement unfold on the BBC shows, seeing the reaction of the veterans involved in the programme; Lamin, John, Jack and their families.
There were also the unseen works, including getting the site into a position where the impossible could be achieved in two weeks, so for whichever stage of the project you were involved in, you really did play a part in making this happen.
